英國一間調查公司「Clinic Compare」近日公布「全球最不健康國家」的前十名，在這份調查報告中，捷克成為全球最不健康的國家，俄羅斯排名第二，全球最健康的國家則是阿富汗。
綜合外媒報導，這份調查主要考量三個因素，分別是人均年飲酒量、人均年吸煙量和居民的肥胖率，而捷克位列全球飲酒量最多的國家，每個捷克人每年約喝掉13.7升的純酒精，此外，捷克也是全球人均吸菸量最多的國家之一，年吸菸量排名全球第11名。
在全球最不健康國家的前十名中，有9個都是東歐國家，除了排名第二的俄羅斯之外，還有斯洛維尼亞、白俄羅斯、斯洛伐克、匈牙利、克羅埃西亞、波蘭、盧森堡、立陶宛和美國，而美國也是前十名中唯一的非歐洲國家，有35%成年人的體重被歸為超重，是世界上肥胖率最高的國家之一。
在最健康國家方面，阿富汗排名第一，只有2.7%的人BMI超過30，加上該國禁止銷售和消費酒精，因此也成為世界上飲酒量最少的國家之一。另外9個最健康國家則是幾內亞、尼日、尼泊爾，剛果民主共和國、厄利垂亞、馬拉威、索馬利亞、莫三比克和衣索比亞。
